The wine list is most impressive, however, and not for the faint of wallet. I was pleased to learn (for the next time) that corkage was permitted: $30 per bottle. The service, from start to finish, was impeccable, provided by young people who knew their stuff and genuinely wanted to make our brunch enjoyable. Each room oozes with quality furnishings, rugs, and art, but the restaurant area is intimate. The building seems vast, with narrow passages echoing the era when it was built, in 17 something. Start with the setting anchored by the Hillbrook Inn, which the resto is part of. It is fine dining - REALLY fine dining - and worth every penny. We wanted to try again, because the next-to-last experience was outstanding. My wife and I hadn't been here for a while our last experience was disappointing.
